Founder Alex Schwartz learned about a word when he was 19 years old and it's stuck with him ever since. He carried this word with him, working hard to embody what it meant.
Knowing that there was one go-to word that he could embody to help get him through the toughest of times and overcome seemingly impossible challenges helped keep him strong, time and time again. He wanted to spread the word, but he knew he couldn't do it alone, and was having trouble finding a partner.
Finally, after meeting Co-Founder Jason Darr at a local car meet, they were inspired by one another's fitness journeys. After a few meetings, and realizing they shared similar goals and inspiration, they put a plan into action to build a brand that would spread the word through fashion, as a way to allow EVERYONE to show their Mettle.
Mettle Apparel is dedicated to building a community of those who embody the meaning of mettle by making unique products that will make you feel amazing just wearing them.
